  1. SN Lines v1.1

  3. Simple, quick and efficient method of adding a quick one-liner to your
  4. system providing a little hint or help here and there.  Completely random
  5. and loaded into clips, so it's lightning fast.  I've included my _Lines
  6. file for some examples, but more than likely, you'll have to change them
  7. to suit your system.  Actually, this could probably be used for other
  8. things, too, like a quote system (if you lower the minimum add access)
  9. and have people's saying popping up all the time.  Who knows?  The sky's
  10. the limit on this little bugger.

  12. Quick & Easy Installation:

  14.  1  Place it somewhere.  (PFiles: would be good.)
  15.  
  16.  2  If you want the "add a line" feature all to yourself, go to the
  17.     bottom of the "1; Maintenance" items in bbsmenu, otherwise go to
  18.     the bottom of the "2; Available everywhere" or "3; Main prompt"
  19.     items and add the following line:

  21.     LADD  |{#0SN:SN_Lines ADD}
  22.  
  23.  3  Load up the 'ol bbstext in your favorite editor and jump to line
  24.     #67 and add the following to the end:

  26.     {#0SN:SN_Lines}

  28.     In steps #2 and #3 above, modify the path to suit and remember,
  29.     \ = CTRL-Y and { = CTRL-Q.

  31.  4  Load up the file _Lines in your favorite editor and modify the
  32.     lines to suit.  The FIRST line is the configuration line which
  33.     determines the minimum access to READ and ADD.  Modify them to
  34.     suit, but WARNING, do NOT change the format of this line.  It looks
  35.     like this:

  44.  5  Reload your bbstext/bbsmenu via CNet's Control Panel menu (option
